What kind of dance classes to dance like britney, pussy cat dolls, pop acts?
What are the best dance classes to take if one wants to learn how to dance like most pop acts on mtv and entertainers, in the style of britney, pussy cat dolls, current pop stars and pop groups? Hip hop? Anything else? Just to get the knack of moving and learning choreography…
I would say you should focus on jazz and hip hop. That "pop" type of dance would fall somewhere in between those types of dancing. You could also call around to some local studios and see what they would suggest for that type of dancing. Some may say you should take a modern or contemporary type of class. This may help, but you should focus on jazz and hip hop. Good luck!

The type of dance they do is hip-hop and a bit of jazz. The choregraphers are almost always trained in every subject of dance…jazz, modern, lyrical, ballet, and hip-hop.
If you want to get the knack of moving, try a ballet class in addition to hip-hop, and a jazz class if you are ambitious. Ballet is the foundation for all dance, and it is extremely helpful for following choreo and makes you aware of body movement.
