How do you get into street dance classes ?

Im 13 (well im 12 but 13 on sunday) and i really love street dancing, ive always wanted to dance for a living, but im not sure how to get into the classes, can you help me please
xD go to some dance studio or community centre near you and ask for hip-hop dance classes. if you pay & practice, they should take you into dance class.

I’m already taking dance at school but its only 3x a week. I want to start getting involved in lyrical dance. I know its a combination between ballet and jazz and I have a very basic background in both. What classes should I take to start lyrical dance? Also what’s the difference between contemporary and modern? And does anyone recommend a dance studio in the Houston, TX area?
Lyrical dance borrows pieces from all types and forms of dance and it combines elements of ballet, modern, Jazz, and Tap dance techniques. It is commonly set to popular music with vocals or just instrumental bars. There is no formal requirement for learning lyrical dance however a lyrical dancer requires great strength, stamina, grace and expression that any and all formal dance techniques will be a good foundation for learning lyrical dancing.Since I am in NY I have no idea where you should go but I do know that you will most likely need to try a few classes to find your comfort zone.

I’m currently 16. All my life I have never taken up dance but I have always had the desire to. Is it too late to take up dancing? Although I don’t want to take it up as a profession, I would like to develop advanced skills later on. I need to figure out how often I need to be taking classes during the week or month. How much do dance classes typically cost?
For additional info, I’m interested in taking up contemporary and hip hop dance.
it all matters on the studio at my studio it’s $10 for an hour and at my old studio it was $30
and it’s never to late I’m 17 and stated when i was 15 but it matter and again on where you live, what studio and what style of dance(jazz and hip hop will normally have more people in it than tap and ballet because it’s easier to learn on So You Think You Can Dance they never have tap or classical ballet)
and how many classes again matters on the style but as long as you practice you should only need one a week
