Kierstyn’s POV
Since I started dance rehearsals with Joe, I had stopped teaching dance classes at Maybelles Dance Studio. I loved teaching kids. I taught beginning, intermediate, and advanced ballroom and hip-hop.
At 10:00am I arrived at the dance studio and received hugs from Maybelle(the owner) and the other teachers. When the kids came in the studio, they all ran to me.
Kierstyn: Hi guys! I missed you!!!
They all gave me huge hugs.
Tory: Why havent you been here?!?!
Tory was a small, outspoken girl who had curls all over the place. Her hair was just so long. She pulled on my skirt and demanded an answer.
Kierstyn: Im gonna be in a movie. I made up dances for it and I had to teach the lead the dances.
Richard: WOW! Thats so cool!
Kierstyn: It is kinda cool. Alright everyone were going to work on a new dance. Partner up!
All the girls grabbed a boy to dance with. I started showing them the dance in counts of eight.
Kierstyn: Then spin and leap.
I spun to demonstrate and then I lept through the air. The girls mimicked me.
Joe: Wow. Nice dancing.
I spun to where Joe stood.
Kierstyn: Hey bab- Joe.
Joe smiled at my slip-up. Keeping our relationship a secret wasnt very easy.
Rita: OH MY GOSH!!!! Its JOE JONAS!!!!!
Tory: OMJ!
There were other screams and squeals. .
Kierstyn: Girls chill! For those of you who dont know, this is Joe Jonas. Hes my boy-ish friend.
Oops. Joe gave me a go ahead look. I mouthed Are you sure?. He nodded and I winked at him.
Kierstyn: Can you guys keep a secret?
Rita: Of course!
I thought about that for a second.
Kierstyn: Alright I’m gonna tell you anyway! Joe is my boyfriend.
Suddenly Topher was in between Joe and I. Topher was super short and super in love with me.
Topher: So you’re dating my girl?
Joe: YOUR girl?
Topher: Uh huh! She’s mine so back off.
Joe raised his eyebrows at me.
Kierstyn: Topher.
I gave him a warning look.
Topher: Just keep you paws off her pretty boy!
With that said Joe took a step toward me, put his arm around my waist, and kissed me hard with tongue. He had a really strong tongue. He tasted like cinnamon gum and Red Bull. A surprisingly yummy combination. It left me totally breathless. My heart was beating twice as fast.
Kierstyn: Joe! 8 year olds in the room!
He pulled away and smirked at Topher who in turn, kicked him in the shin. He was too short to kick anywhere higher. I kinda laughed then realized that was setting a bad example.
Kierstyn: Topher! No kicking!
Topher: He started it!
Joe: Did not!
Topher: Did too!
Joe: Did not!
Topher: Did too!
Joe: Did not times infinity and beyond! Take that!
Kierstyn: My God Joe you’re as bad as the children.
Topher: Does that mean you’ll break up with him?
Kierstyn: No Topher.
I kissed Joe’s nose.
Joe: I better go before HE starts anything else.
Kierstyn: Kay bye babe.
He left. The girls were still staring at me.
Rita: Did he put his tongue in your mouth?
Kierstyn: Uh huh.
I can’t even imagine how doofy I looked with that dreamy look on my face.
Rita: Gross!
Kierstyn: I used to think that too.
Tory: I will never let a guy put his tongue in my mouth. How would I know if he brushed his teeth?
Kierstyn: Oh that. You kinda just gotta pray that he did.
Yeah, so that was the last chapter I have pre-written. I have little bits and pieces of later chapters. So now I have to write it as I go. I have a feeling it’s gonna get a lot better. Please don’t stop reading. YAY! This is the first time I’ve been home alone this whole summer. Everyone else went to Mulligans. I’m watching That 70s Show.
